about :

A halocline is a natural phenomenon that appears when two bodies of water with different salinities do not mix because of the absence of current. The visual effect it creates is stunning : it blurs vision, confounds perception and orientation. It looks like a fine, immaterial and shimmering layer, like a portal to a distant world ! The work Halocline tries to musically recreate the same visual sensations. By playing with the density of musical textures formed by a constant set of motives, by juxtaposing, superposing or transitioning between them, the music carries the listener in a journey across musical states, emotions and atmospheres.
