Take a deep breath before the plunge, or in this case, take a deep breath before the ride ! Because this is what this work is about: one continuous push forward, tremendous energy, as well as rhythmic and instrumental virtuosity. Timbral exploration also contributes to the richness of this work, with a variety of articulations and sonorities. Even with its dynamic ebb and flow, the ride never stops until its sudden conclusion. The physicality of the music, the movements of the players, greatly influences the live experience of this work for the listener. This awareness of the physicality of the music is something that took more and more space in my practice in my following works.
