What remains when everything seems to be falling apart around us? When we begin to question our understanding of the past, when we doubt our certainties? When the stars that have guided us until now become difficult to discern through the surrounding chaos?
This was the state of mind I was in when I composed «What remains is now»—a period in my life when I had to hold firmly to the present moment, because neither the past nor the future made sense to me anymore.
In a way, this was the great gift I was given: no matter what happens in our personal lives or in society, the present moment is generous to those who know how to look at it and appreciate it.
